Bob is generally overlooked for his guitar contributions in the Dead. I love the way he gives Jerry a solid base to land on and also stays out of J's way. A unique talent.

I miss Mister Jerry. He gave us " so many notes ", didn't he? What a guy. No sense of ego whatsoever, just always blendin' his sense of life through his gee-tar. Luvzya, Jer. A Dark Star un-imploded so's we could hear da' notes. It was always about the notes……….. weren't it? Tell me if I'm rong.

Bobby's brilliant background melodic notes between the 2nd and 3rd verses of this mellow-paced Fire are beautiful, twangy, utterly haunting, and provide an emotionally evoking complement to Jerry...who vocalizes the lyrics as clear and articulate as I have ever heard them sung. My all time favorite live performance of this song.

Hey Family! Thank you for your diligent electronic gift given freely to the users of the internet. Excellent selection. I admire the roots of the live recording industry. Where would we be without Noble Sound Engineers?
