wow. that guitar chord on "quite - a - day - too" :53 sec in was awesome. i kept playing it over again til i finally let it go. just to find it was foreshadowing the ending. simply amazing production and performance.

My cousin yakini was a huge, huge Nancy Wilson fan. She made the whole family n everyone she knew a fan as well. We met her in Philadelphia when she played the Dell. We were in her dressing room n everythin. Watchd the show from the wings. My cousin used to do some kind of fan club stuff for her. I was in my teens then. But I remember she was a very nice lady! This ones for you yakini 'cause I miss u so. When I listen to Ms Nancy Wilson I feel ur spirit

Ranks right up there with Kristofferson's 'For the Good Times', Jimmy Webb's 'By the time I get to Phoenix' on the sadness meter. Nancy always had a natural ability to capture the true essence of every song she sang, this one being no different. She nails it.

One of the best things about this definitive rendition is the way she controls the song. You can hear other singers attempt it but they are singing with too much attitude for such irony. Check out Cecile McLorin Salvant's version. Sublime. But this song is totally owned by Nancy Wilson!
