The only reason he played as well as he did and he was great was the fact Brodie Retallick missed this game. Retallick would have had a big influence .

Class act, God I wish he was Irish. Future looking good for the Boks.

Great to see South Africa on the up and Marx was superb. He certainly put Cole in his place... I see signs of an ageing New Zealand side on the wane .

All he needs to do now is find his jumpers in the line consistently. The amount of line outs SA has lost is scandalous.

Absolutely superb. I get at least as much pleasure from watching this type of groundhog shit at the breakdown as I do from any length-of-the-field try-scoring shit. The combination of strength, power, technique, timing, proper signalling to the ref, required to pull this off time and again - against the bloody All Blacks - is phenomenal.

Simply amazing game. Didn't really do much in the Albany test or the two draws v Aussie but gonna be interesting to see how well he goes from now on. Has set a high bar for himself, as did the whole Boks team for itself going forward. Awesome.

This guy is average at best and wouldnt make the All Blacks team, not even on the bench...... hes too slow, unskilled and not suited to superior All Blacks fast paced gameplay.....

Shame that SA lost this match. I feel that if they had put on Handre Pollard from the beginning instead of Elton Jantjies that we would've won. Jantjies was really sub-par this match in my opinion.

Inspirational game. SA definitely deserved to win. As a Kiwi, that was one of the best games I’ve seen against the ABs in a long time, nail biter that made the ABs actually have to work, and that’s how games between the Tri Nations teams used to be. I really hope SA keep playing this way. Great game

Fantastic performance, made Coles look average which is no small feat. Backed well by a strong game from Kitshoff, Etzebeth and Psdt. 4 Springboks were outstanding on the day, its going to be interesting when Coenie, kriel, whiteley and Vermeulen return.

Springboks have a good pack, nothing new about that. But they need to find a new backline.
Replace 9 to 15. Make space on wings for Mapimpi and Combrink, centres Rohan Jvr and Lukanyo Am, Warrick Gelant to 15. Then the boks can challenge NZ. Glad the rivalry is still alive and.well. next.up Ireland

Best performance by a foreign player against the All Blacks I have ever seen. Respect from New Zealand.

As a Wallaby supporter, I have to say Malcolm Marx is the best player in the world!
