Who would let a very scary guy with a lawnmower blade stand over them that long? I do think Doyle welcomed his fate in some way.

That there was a lawn mower blade. ummmhmmm. Some calls it a Doyle Dicer, I calls it a lawn mower blade. ummmhmmm. I think Karl would be a good congressman. :)

Karl could have put Doyle in his place in a fist fight, Doyle is just all talk.

Love the sound of his sighing (?) (someone please correct me on the proper name of this bodily sound) when there's no score and it's clear after the second swing. That pleasure sighing like "that's that" is cool.

As much of a dimwit as he was supposed to be, the scene where he told John Ritter to take care of Frank; and then again at the end when he told JT Walsh to pound sand, showed how intense and brilliant a character Karl really was. Great movie, awesome performance, and terrific screenplay...all credits to one individual. Should have won Best Actor, and wasn't even nominated for Best Picture. The English Patient? Get real.....

Does anybody else think that Doyle welcomes his fate in this scene? As though Carl is some exterminating angel he's been waiting for to release him for his miserable existence? Or am I getting too deep?
